Is my image resolution size sufficient to print? Follow
We want you to be satisfied with your prints, so we recommend that you check the image size and resolution before placing your order.
The image size determines how large your print will be, and the resolution determines how clear and sharp it will look.
The resolution is measured in pixels per inch (ppi), and the higher the ppi, the better the quality of your print. We suggest that you use images with at least 300 ppi for optimal results. The image size is measured in pixels (px), and the larger the px, the bigger the print size you can make from the file.
You can check the image size and resolution by right-clicking on the image file and selecting Properties. Then, click on the Details tab and look for the dimensions and horizontal/vertical resolution fields. If the image size is too small or the resolution is too low, your print may appear blurry or pixelated. If you have any concern or question, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
With most modern cameras and smartphones, image resolution is not an issue. However, this is assuming you have the image quality on the camera set to the highest or close to highest possible when taking the photo.
If you aren't sure if your camera or files are high enough resolution, feel free to contact our customer service team to verify before submitting your large format print order.
