This process is called a preauthorization, which is commonly used in industries such as hotel bookings or car rentals. How Preauthorizations Work

When you place an order on our website, our system performs a preauthorization to confirm the availability of funds. This means:

• A temporary hold is placed on the amount of your order.

• The hold remains for 7 business days.

• The actual charge only occurs when your item is shipped.

 

Using Visa/Mastercard Debit for Payments

Visa Debit cards function differently from credit cards when it comes to preauthorizations. Here's what you need to know:

• At the time of order placement, an actual charge occurs to verify the availability of funds (instead of a preauthorization hold).

• If your order is not processed within 7 business days, the charged amount is automatically refunded to your account.

• The actual charge will be applied again when your order is shipped after those 7 business days.
